Manage your resources, craft your weapons, and keep your tank full if you want to see the sunrise! 🗺️ OREGON'S OPEN WORLD: REGIONS AND CAMPS Throughout the series, we'll travel along destroyed roads, through dense forests, and across snowy mountain passes while navigating the politics of survivor camps: Cascades & Belknap: The first areas on the map, filled with ambushes, NERO scientific corporation checkpoints, and nests that we must burn to clear the routes. Copeland Camp: A community of survivors obsessed with weapons, conspiracy theories, and constitutional law. Ideal for upgrading our motorcycle's mechanical components. Tucker Camp (Hot Springs): A hardened labor camp where credits are earned through hard work, perfect for purchasing our first military-grade heavy weapons. Iron Butte & Lost Lake: Advanced areas where the story becomes much deeper and the dangers triple. 🧟‍♂️ THE BESTIARY: THE FACTIONS OF "FREAKERS" In Days Gone, we don't call them zombies; they're Freakers, constantly evolving living creatures that hunt, sleep, and move according to the weather and time of day: Newts: Slippery adolescent Freakers that stalk you from the rooftops and only attack if your health is low. Swarmers: The common variant. They're easy to deal with alone, but in groups they form terrifying Hordes, masses of hundreds of Freakers moving as a single, destructive organism in real time. Screamers: Their deafening shriek obscures your vision and attracts all nearby threats in seconds. Breakers: Pure, mutated tanks of pure muscle that charge at you relentlessly. Infected Fauna: From ferocious infected wolves (Runners) to gigantic and terrifying mutated bears (Rabid). 🔫 HUMAN ENEMIES: THE WAR FOR RESOURCES Sometimes, the living are worse than the dead. During our journey, we'll clear the map of hostile factions: Looters and Ambush Gang: Bandits who set traps on the roads (piano wires, sniper rifles) to knock you off your bike and steal your supplies. Rippers (Rest in Peace): A cult of deranged lunatics who worship the Freakers. They self-mutilate, burn camps, and attack without regard for their own lives. 🔧 SURVIVAL MECHANICS: SCRAP AND GASOLINE To survive on the road, we'll have to master Days Gone's technical gameplay loop: Bike Maintenance: Every hit damages the engine, and every kilometer consumes fuel. We'll search for gas cans and scrap metal under car hoods to repair it on the spot. Crafting Wheel: Collect first-aid kits, kerosene, bottles, and rags to craft Molotov cocktails, bandages, and traps on the go.
