Ceiling Fan - Sell Motor or Scrap for Copper?

Ceiling fans are a good source of scrap copper. I take a look at the difference in value between selling the motor as scrap or scrapping it out for the copper. Not a huge difference in value but if copper is what your after to melt into ingots then it's well worth scrapping out, easy & fun.
