On an F1 car, the outside tyre turns more! Have you ever noticed that F1 tyres don’t always point in the same direction? And yes, I dont mean after they have crashed. With steering angles, there are three ways to do it. Parallel -Both wheels turn the same amount Positive Ackerman - Inside tyre moves more than the outside Negative Ackerman - Outside tyre moves more than the inside You may think that when you turn the wheel on your car, both wheels turn the same amount. But they don’t.
