Marquis de Sade were quite possibly the sharpest French post-punk outfit to erupt from Rennes between 1977 and 81. Spawned by singer-poet Philippe Pascal and fretboard demon Frank Darcel, they only managed two studio LPs before splintering off into Marc Seberg and Octobre. This song comes from their second self-titled opus, "Rue de Siam", released on Pathé Marconi EMI. I'm not making a profit from my little video-montage. This is a non-monetized channel.
