While playing, Crash Bandicoot must fight Doctor Neo Cortex and his henchmen in order to save Tawna, his beloved bandicoot girlfriend, from Cortex. This game was made when Naughty Dog had only ten employees. As well as being originally released on the PlayStation, it was also emulated on the PlayStation Network on December 4, 2006, through which it can be played on the PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita and, as of Operating System update 1.70, on the PlayStation 3. It has sold 6.82 million copies globally. A complete remaster of the game was released on the 30th June 2017 along with Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot: Warped as part of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Don Pinstripelli Potorotti (commonly shortened to just Pinstripe Potoroo) is a potoroo subjected to the Evolvo-Ray to be Doctor Neo Cortex's bodyguard. He is well known for wielding a Tommy Gun and laughing madly. He made his first appearance in the first Crash Bandicoot game. In Crash Bandicoot and Crash Team Racing, he is voiced by Brendan O'Brien, whereas in the N. Sane Trilogy, he is voiced by Jess Harnell. Pinstripe Potoroo (クールな ピンストライプ lit. Cool Pinstripe in Japanese) is the fourth boss fight in Crash Bandicoot. It takes place on Cortex Island and is the first boss fight situated on that island; it is set in Pinstripe's office, and it is the only level of its type. He has six hit points. It begins with Pinstripe standing on his desk shooting at Crash with his trusty Tommy-gun, laughing insanely. Then, he jumps off and starts shooting at Crash, who's cowering behind a chair which is withstanding the bullets. Every now and then Pinstripe will cross the room as he stops shooting, giving Crash the time to spin him or jump on him, taking one off his hit points. He'll then do this two more times. Once Pinstripe just has three hit points he'll start jumping on and off his desk laughing like crazy. This time however, his gun will clog up after a small series of shots, letting Crash spin him or jump on him. On his final hit point Pinstripe's gun will malfunction on the desk and when Crash spins or jumps on him he fires a few more as a last attack but accidentally shoots the generator at the back.
