One Year In...

This past year has been a roller coaster. I never thought I would have made it this far in the journey and I thank each and every person who has supported me along the way. I'm sorry this isn't the season 5 moments upload, I really wanted it to be, but unforeseen circumstances have led me to delay it a little longer. If you're interested read below: On a real note, MoneySMP is one of the most supportive communities I have ever been apart of. I have met so many amazing people and created long lasting friendships, none of which would have been possible without the outstanding creators at the helm. Genuinely I have never seen a more interactive and supportive group of creators in the entire minecraft community. I've seen them shoutout talented artists, animators and clippers and overall just make anyone feel welcomed. People say the group as a whole is toxic, but you have to understand it's a friend group first. The jokes and insults seem a bit much starting out believe me 😭 But eventually you'll see that they are just a group of friends who love to bullshit. Now I'm not saying everyone in the MoneySMP community is perfect and doesn't make mistakes cause that's just not true. We're all human, it's in our nature to make mistakes and learn from them. If you witness something happen, hold that person accountable and give them the opportunity to grow. We become our best self when taking in different perspectives and molding them to make our own. With that being said, we need to understand the difference between holding someone accountable and bringing others down. And the crucial aspect is timing. Get the facts, review all perspectives, and then make a statement. Don't wait years, months, or even weeks to hold somebody accountable for something that they have done (now I understand other situations are much more delicate and require a lot of courage to speak up about and I support any victims who had the courage to stand up and face those traumatic experiences). I feel like just doing a little reflection on the matter rather than immediately going public with something would save a lot of unnecessary drama that I personally do not enjoy seeing on any platform. Because in my opinion if you wait to speak out you're not helping the person. You're hurting the entire community and I would rather ALL of us celebrate our successes rather than tear each other down. #minecraft #funny #clips
