North ABC Trek | A Complete Trekking Guide ❤️

North ABC, or the Annapurna I Base Camp Trek, is a remote and challenging trek in Nepal that follows the original route of the 1950 French expedition to Annapurna I(8091 m) led by Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal. It was the first mountain over 8,000 meters ever summited by humans in history. This trek is also referred to as the Maurice Herzog Trail and is situated in Myagdi District of Nepal. Here's my Trek Itinerary from KTM (3 days,4 nights): Night 1: 5:30 PM - KTM to Tatopani (1240 M) (310 KM Bus Drive) Day 1: 8AM - Tatopani to Humkhola (2 hours Jeep Drive) 10 AM - Reach Humkhola (2883M). Hike Starts from Humkhola. 12 PM - Futfute Jharana (3133M) 1 PM - Lunch at Sadhikharka (3160M) 5 PM - Stay at Busket Mela (3530M) Day 2: 4 AM: Busket Mela to Panchakunda lake (4050M) (2-3 hours Uphill Hike) 7 AM: Panchakunda to Old Annapurna I Base Camp (4300M) (1 hour hike from Panchakunda Lake) 10 AM: Lunch at Panchakunda Dham/Lake Hotel 11 AM: Head Back to Gufaphant (5 hours downhill hike) 5 PM: Stay at Gufaphant. Day 3: 8 AM: Breakfast at Gufaphant and head back to Humkhola (2 hours downhill hike) 10 AM: Humkhola to Tatopani (2 hours drive) 12 PM: Lunch at Tatopani 1 PM: Enjoy natural Hotspring and explore or take rest at Tatopani 5:30 PM: Tatopani to Kathmandu (Bus Drive) Day 4: 5 AM: Reach Kathmandu early Morning. Note: Prices may vary depending on the season and crowd levels. Please note that there is no network coverage beyond Gurase Danda or Futfute Jharana, so it is advisable to reach your accommodation on time to ensure your stay, as the North ABC trail has seen a high number of trekkers recently.
