This is a spreading phlox, not a paniculate or subulate variety, it's completely different. These phlox are typically lilac-colored, which is their most common color. You can also find white phlox and a more intense, bluer hue. What can I say about this phlox in a nutshell? Simply a spring charm. It begins blooming around May 20th and ends around June 10th, lasting 2-2.5 weeks. It grows in any soil, but prefers loose soil. It's undemanding of growing conditions and doesn't require much light, but it will be looser in the shade, and if grown in full sun, it will be a bit shorter and may feel a bit dry. Here, it grows in partial shade. The lilac phlox is called 'Clouds of Perfume' and is 35 cm tall. The white variety is called 'May Breeze' and is 40 cm tall. The Blue Moon variety is also 35 cm tall.
