The ORIGINAL Cait Corrain??? | The Selection Analysis + Talking about the Controversy

To find out that Kiera Cass went through a similar Cait Corrain-level controversy over 10 YEARS AGO was definitely a shock… Although I definitely didn’t do any deep dives or hard investigation into this issue, I can at least say that this book was definitely not worth all that drama. Wendy Darling was just one person among the literal MILLIONS of people that read and reviewed the book. And even though she had her share of criticisms, it’s undeniable that the love for this book and this series is still alive and well even after so many years. I’m glad I picked this book for Kristen’s Top Picks because even though there were some things I didn’t vibe with, I am eternally grateful that I got to experience the fictitious romance of Maxon and America. Unfortunately, he is my new unattainable standard for men. Sorry. It is not my place to say whether or not people should continue to support Kiera Cass but I like to think that she’s learned (very publicly) from this experience and will not make another mistake like this in the future.
