Two days hiking, fishing and camping in the Sheeffry hills, Co. Mayo Tent - Big Sky Mirage 1.5 Rod - Vision Onki, 9ft, 6wt Reel - Vision Kalu 5/6 Flies - Bibio/Wickhams Fancy size 12 Pack weight - 12.8kg, including, water, food, beer and whiskey Approx 14mile/22km roundtrip Day 1, at the first Lough there were strong gusts so headed for the outflow of the Lough by the forestry to camp so l could get a decent sleep. Day 2, fairly gusty on the summit but it calmed down in the evening. Nice views in all directions Day 3, traversed most of the mountain range back to the car. Hottest day of the year so far with very little wind FYI, no good water source on or near Barrclashcame summit, but plenty of running water on approach on all sides.
