Meet Roger (30), from Ribeirão Preto, who left his hometown in the interior of São Paulo to try for a better life in the USA. In Brazil, he graduated in Business Administration with a postgraduate degree in Human Resources and, for the 6 years prior to moving to the USA, worked as a planning analyst in a healthcare-related group. He arrived in the USA in March 2016, living for a year in Massachusetts and then moved to California, more precisely to San Francisco, where he currently lives. Along with the change of state, he applied for political asylum. He worked in cleaning, landscaping, carpentry, painting, as a driver delivering mechanical parts and pizza, and currently works as a ride-sharing driver for food and passenger services. In this video, he talks about the cost of living: food, electricity, water, phone, rent, car, insurance, work, etc., and whether it's still worth living in the USA after so much time.
