Yukino (Higashiomi City, Omihachiman City, and Ryuo Town, Gamo District, Shiga Prefecture) The historical sites of the Sengoku period are suddenly gaining popularity thanks to the historical drama "Toyotomi Brothers." This time, we decided to climb Mt. Binwari, where Toyotomi Hideyoshi's rival, Shibata Katsuie, played a major role! Mt. Binwari is the place where Shibata Katsuie was given the nickname "Binwari Shibata" (Binwari Shibata). While climbing Mt. Binwari, we felt the history of the Sengoku period, but just climbing Mt. Binwari alone felt a little unsatisfying... So, we decided to traverse the Yukino mountain range, centering on the nearby Mt. Yukino! The traverse of all seven peaks was a very enjoyable mountain trip with spectacular views and a challenging climb! 😊
