Urban Disaster Search and Rescue - GR18 / VR18

The U.S. Army 22nd Engineer Clearance Company (ECC), Joint Base Lewis-McChord, conducts urban disaster search and rescue training during Vibrant Response 18/ Guardian Response 18 in April 2018. U.S. Army North executes the annual Vibrant Response consequence management exercise at the direction of U.S. Northern Command to confirm command and control elements of the nation’s CBRN response forces. U.S. Force Command’s linked exercise, Guardian Response, held at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, validates how the subordinate units train to carry out the operations under the direction of a joint task force.
