CP and CN Trains at Gibson Road Crossing, Chilliwack, BC - June 22nd, 2017

Five different trains belonging to Canadian Pacific and Canadian National at Gibson Road crossing, just east of Chilliwack, BC. First, we see a very special train - straight out of the 1960's, the Royal Canadian Pacific Tourist Train from Calgary, en-route to Vancouver. Next comes a Canadian Pacific potash train, followed by a Canadian National manifest, another Canadian National intermodal, and finally a Canadian Pacific grain hopper train. The track is owned by Canadian National - in the Fraser Valley all trains run Westbound through Chilliwack from the Fraser Canyon. Eastbound trains use Canadian Pacific tracks, on the north side of the Fraser River through Agassiz. Furthermore, Gibson Road crossing is the last R/R crossing on the CN mainline in the FVRD to have a mechanical bell. It was converted with a new E-bell and gates in February, 2018.
