On June 20th, our Güímar Wrestling Club traveled to the Benildo Frías Arena in Fasnia to play the second leg of the Abragón Regional Tournament semifinals in the Men's Third Category against the Brisas del Teide Wrestling Club. Our wrestlers gave absolutely everything in the arena. They fought with heart, commitment, and pride, defending the Güímar crest until the very last moment. Although victory eluded us this time, and we were eliminated from the competition in the semifinals, we leave with our heads held high. Reaching the regional semifinals is already a huge achievement, but it's even more impressive considering this has been our club's return season. Returning to competition and reaching the regional semifinals reflects the hard work of the wrestlers, coaching staff, management, collaborators, sponsors, and the entire Güímar Wrestling Club family. This is not the end of the road. This is the beginning of a new chapter filled with excitement, hard work, and a desire to keep growing.
