Interview: Vindicta – a band born out of drama and chaos

After Vindicta’s second show in Tokyo, Roppongi Rocks’ Stefan Nilsson had a quick chat with the wicked metal sisters about this new beginning. Minutes after Patri “Rusalka” Grief, Amber “Lamia” Maldonado, Grace Jane “Lilith” Pasturini, Wena “Medea” Velasco and Gemma Sofia “Kali” Salvatori came off stage in Otsuka, Tokyo, after a triumphant gig, Roppongi Rocks was granted an audience with the wicked metal sisters. The conversation covers whether it was obvious that once they left Dogma, they would continue together but on their own terms, the creative process, when the band’s debut album is expected to be released, the response from fans during the band’s first tour, how the setlist will evolve and much more. Vindicta was born out of drama and chaos when Lilith, Lamia and Rusalka left Dogma in 2025. They decided to continue on their own terms. With Medea and Kali subsequently joining, Vindicta is now a fierce quintet ready to rock the world. The Vindicta concept is built on catchy modern metal songs, a high-energy performance, great musicians, provocative imagery and heaps of naughtiness. The band’s debut single, “The Face of the Clown”, was recently released. They are now touring to promote it in Australia, Japan and Europe. “We’re on a mission”, says the band. This interview was filmed at Otsuka Hearts+ in Tokyo, Japan, on 1st July 2026. #vindicta #thefaceoftheclown #naughtynuns #thereckoningtour #japantour #backstageinterview #rubiconmusic #roppongirocks https://vindicta-official.com   / officialvindictaband     / officialvindicta
