A very sad Legend.

Prague Loreto is a complex of Baroque monastic buildings in Prague. The Capuchin monastery consists of the Church of the Nativity, the chapel of the Holy Lodge of Loreto (Santa Casa di Loreto) and the monastery building with a bell tower. The Loreto in Prague was founded by Princess Catherine Benigne of the Lobkowicz family. In 1626, she commissioned the construction on a plot of land she owned, bringing in the architect Giovanni Battista Orsi from Vienna specifically for the project. The Santa Casa in Prague is considered the most accurate of all copies of the Italian original. The Italian Santa Casa is located inside a basilica, while the Prague one is located outdoors. The exterior of the Loreto is decorated with stucco decorations depicting scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary. A 17th-century linden wood figurine of Our Lady of Loreto is housed inside. There are several legends about the ringing of the monastery's bells. You'll learn one of them from this video.
