Tsuken Shitahaku no Sai
This kata was taught to my sensei by Uehara Ko Sensei in Okinawa back in the 70s. I performed the kata using heavy sai customised in our dojo for practise purposes. These are substantially heavier than the standard type and has a smooth grip instead of one wrapped in rough fabric....which makes the sai really slippery on warm days.
