Robotic Insulation Tape Wrapping System for Alternator Coil

Perfectly insulated coils are very critical for the production of high quality alternator because there are many coils in one alternator. Insulation defects detected later in the production process are very costly. Manual insulation tape wrapping is a very taxing task which cannot guarantee consistent overlaps and constant tape tension, which might lead to insulation failure.
