While Izumo, Iwami Ginzan, and Matsue are the main destinations for Shimane travel and sightseeing, we highly recommend making a trip to Hamada as well. ✨ There are many beautiful locations facing the Sea of ​​Japan, and plenty of great shops! The view of the JR San'in Line trains passing right next to the water, which can be seen from Yuhi Park Misumi Roadside Station, is particularly breathtaking. ✨👀 And the fresh fish caught in the Sea of ​​Japan...! The sashimi we had at Nakada Sakana was thick and fatty, and absolutely delicious! It's a popular restaurant, so reservations aren't accepted, so we recommend arriving early! We also visited Iwami Tatamigaura, Hamada Gokoku Shrine, Hamada Castle Ruins, and Tako Hatsu Shokudo, allowing us to experience the deep side of Hamada. And to conclude our trip, we went to Mimata Onsen, known as Japan's best hot spring for beautiful skin. The quality of the spring water is such that you'll want to visit regularly, even every day. Only those who have taken a bath will understand how smooth and moisturized your skin feels after a bath. It's no wonder it's number one in Japan! Definitely a must-visit!
