Harriet shaded Snow in yet another absolutely breathtaking heraldic pose today Great Lakes Bald Eagle Cam! 🦅✨ May 29, 2026 Even though the nest has been tilted at a steep angle ever since the support branch broke on Monday night, it thankfully remains in position. Our resilient eagle family is adapting beautifully! This extended 10-minute view from Cam 2 gives us a peaceful look at Harriet's incredible devotion. After starting in the nest, Harriet moves right up onto the rails directly above the tilted nest to provide the perfect "mombrella" shield against the afternoon sun for 48-day-old Snow. As for our friends at the North Sky Raptor Sanctuary, they are currently in a holding pattern. Since the nest structure is holding and both parents are doing an incredible job caring for Snow, the best plan right now is to keep monitoring closely.
