Overnight in a Rain Storm, Plash Palakta Bivvy, French F2 Rucksack, Minimal Gear
Winter is winding down in NW Pennsylvania. The day started out beautifully, but evening turned to non-stop rain and winds. My shelter was a plash palakta in a modified leanto configuration using 2 Russian Plash Palakta. My sleeping gear included one wool blanket and a plash palakta used as a bivvy sack. Wool pants, socks, and anorak served as my primary base layer. My backpack for this trip was the French F2 rucksack. I also utilized a Polish shoulder bag as a haversack to carry my saw, water, fire kit and a few convenience items. Music is from an original composition I recorded a few years ago and a snippet of a song by a band called Sponge. Any questions about the trip, drop a comment and I will be happy to reply.
