🇻🇳 48 Hours in Hanoi – A Journey of Food and Relaxation In July 2024, my husband and I visited Hanoi, Vietnam. We’ve always loved Vietnam and often traveled to Ho Chi Minh City, but this time we decided to return to Hanoi after quite some time. During our stay, we enjoyed exploring local food spots, indulging in spa treatments and massages, and hunting for beautiful Bat Trang pottery. Although our trip was only 48 hours long, staying near the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake allowed us to explore many places on foot. With the Grab ride-hailing app, getting around the city was even more convenient. We still adore Ho Chi Minh City, but this trip reminded us how charming Hanoi is—with its nostalgic atmosphere, traditional architecture, and the warmth of its people. Hanoi has truly become a city we love even more. As for our beloved dog, Ama, she stayed home this time. Thanks to a wonderful and trustworthy dog host, we were able to travel with peace of mind. We’re so grateful to them and their lovely dogs 🐾
