Traditional arts, or what could be called culture, have existed since our ancestors. Traditional arts can be said to be unique and diverse in their procedures. Not everyone can perform them, requiring special skills and a deep artistic soul. Therefore, it is not uncommon to find these traditional arts in other cities or countries. Traditional arts come in various forms and varieties, including the traditional art of jaran kepang, often called kuda lumping, bantengan, reog ponorogo, wayang kulit, campursari, jaran kidal, jaran dor, buto gedrok, and many other arts. Jaranan, or kuda lumping, is a regional dance characterized by the vibrant sounds of gamelan music, the beating of kenong (a traditional Indonesian musical instrument), and the blowing of selompret (a traditional Chinese musical instrument). Similarly, bantengan also has its own distinctive characteristics: it utilizes traditional musical instruments, including the ketepong (a traditional Chinese musical instrument), jidor (a traditional Chinese musical instrument), and kenteng (a traditional Chinese musical instrument). When played, the music creates beautiful music. This traditional art form is steeped in mystical and spiritual values, so it's not uncommon for dancers or performers to experience trance during performances. This is related to the Javanese people's belief in the spirits of their ancestors in ancient times, so that the community uses this traditional art as a means of communication with their ancestors. The jaranan or bantengan art usually displays several scenes from the beginning of the performance to the end, the dances that are usually performed are the celeng war dance / prabu celeng srengi, bujang ganong / ganongan dance, prabu klono sewandono, cat attractions, bantengan, macanan, gumbingan, reog ponorogo, kewan alas and rampak barong.
