Trying Mongolian National Food Khorkhog & Exploring Countryside

Hey everyone, welcome to another video in Mongolia! Today I am going with my tour guides Zaya & Noordaad to the countryside to experience how life is there, what they do for a living, how they like it compared to the city and more! In this video the owner of the Ger ( Mongolian House / Tent ) made their National Food for me which is also Traditional. Khorkhog, Khorkhog is a National Dish in Mongolia, it is made with fresh meat that was just butchered, with a few vegetables and then they put hot stones and cover it to cook for half an hour to an hour. But with how they cook it, it's a nightmare for well done steak lovers, because it's cooked 'rare' ( comes our raw ). But for me it was still very tasty and I enjoyed it so I thank the people who cooked it for me. Khorkhog is also only made for special events like when guests or family visit in a long time etc and the owner of the Ger also has to eat the Khorkhog first to deem it worthy or not to be shared and I accidently ate some without knowing this rule so I'm very sorry about that Anyways, I've also interviewed Zaya and recorded much more in this video so stay tuned, make sure to like and subscribe as it helps us out a lot, thank you!
