Since September is Suicide Prevention and Awareness month I really wanted to do a mix somehow revolving around depression and suicide, but at the same time keep a rather uplifting feel. As a paramedic that gets confronted with suicidal topics and people suffering from depression every now and then, it's very important to me that people are being made aware that this stuff is real and some of you will most likely have someone among your friends that suffers from this as well or maybe that person is even you. Even I used to have a friend that was suicidal who never reached out or talked with anyone about his thoughts and feelings, and now he sadly isn't with us anymore. Suicide & depression are things people make fun of a lot and are topics that are being swept under the rug by many people, and I can't stand to see or hear that. If you happen to have thoughts like this, suffer from depression or generally feel like you're in a dark place, please reach out to someone and get help.
