Located at The Pike. Long Beach California USA. This Fred Church designed racing coaster operated from 1930 until 1968 when it was demolished. The coaster was famous for its high speed thrills, swooping drops and steep hills. The Cyclone Racer was a dual-track (two trains could launch side by side at the same time), racing wooden roller coaster it was in fact two coasters and not a mobius loop like some other racing coasters. Sadly missed by many there was an effort to have it rebuilt.
