Scott's Soldiers Episode 76 - 2025 Chicagoland Toy Soldier Show

I attended the 2025 show in Chicago September 25-28 including the room trading before the Sunday event. The show is I think the largest toy soldier show in the world bringing vendors and visitors from across the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. For collectors & vendors it is a must attend if only to check it off of your bucket list. It has a great selection of playlets, plastic soldiers of various scales, the major metal toy soldiers both gloss & matte, several small "cottage" makers such as Replica Toy Soldiers, Nates Garage, Hornung Art, AeroArt to name a few. If you were looking for figures from across the Atlantic, European figures were available as well. Looking for books or magazines, yep those could be found at Chicago. Small vendors, national vendors and authorized dealers were represented both domestic and foreign. The show is really two shows in one, a 2 for 1 if you will. You get the room trading which takes place days in advance, and then the main show on the Sunday. Frankly I recommend you take advantage of both, each is distinct in what it offers, and the room trading also allows more social interaction.
