This video features exercises and games to improve individual and cooperative defensive play in a 6-0 defense. Presenter Niels Pfannenschmidt shared training opportunities for an active defense at the 22nd Hildesheim Coaching Seminar. In situations with fewer players, he practiced anticipatory defensive behavior in different positions. In games with equal numbers, he focused on complex situations with multiple actions and the integration of the counter-attack. The HVNB/Hildesheim Coaching Seminar has been offered by the Handball Association of Lower Saxony-Bremen (HVNB) since 1999 as continuing education for coaches with and without licenses.
