Mother Chelsea Field speaks after losing her three children in Sanson tragedy | Stuff.co.nz
Heartbroken Manawatū mother Chelsea Field has spoken publicly for the first time since the deaths of her three children — August, Hugo and Goldie — in the suspected murder-suicide in Sanson. In a statement shared with media, she described her children as her world and said she wanted their lives remembered for their happiness and spirit, not the circumstances of their deaths. Field also revealed she lost her dog and the ashes and keepsakes of her stillborn daughter Iris in the fire that destroyed her home. Police say the investigation into the blaze and the deaths is continuing, with scene examinations still under way. The funeral for the three children will be held in Palmerston North, where friends and family have been asked to wear colourful clothing.
