Teneriffa zu Fuß: Unser Start im Anaga-Gebirge | 165 km Insel Trekking | Teneriffa GR131 | #1

A 165-kilometre trek across Tenerife – without a tent, but with plenty of surprises. At the end of December, we’ll set off on our multi-day hike from the small village of Igueste in the north-east of the largest of the Canary Islands and spend the first two days in the wild Anaga Rural Park. We’ll also tell you why we want to cross Tenerife on foot from north to south, how we’re planning our route off the GR 131, and what role the snow-capped Teide and the closed paths in the national park play in the rest of our tour. #Tenerife #Hiking #CanaryIslands #GR131 ⏰ 8 days ➡️ 165km ⬆️ 6,598m elevation gain ⬇️ 6,576m elevation loss If you’re interested in the outdoors, trekking, wild camping and adventure in the Canary Islands, you’ve come to the right place! 🌄    • 🇪🇸 KANARISCHE INSELN Thru-Hike   👉 You can also find all the details about our tour on FindPenguins, our hiking diary: https://findpenguins.com/alexfranzion... 👉 You can find more exciting content on trekking, planning, our experiences and tips at https://alex-franzi.com/ 00:00 What we’re planning 04:36 Teide booking 06:02 Bivouacking on Tenerife 07:23 Is it possible to climb Teide in the snow? 09:36 The first night 13:41 Changeable weather 18:39 Water source 22:30 Map and outlook
