DIY Off-Road Overland Trailer Build | Jeep Bantam Restoration and Modification

We walk around this late 1940s Bantam Off-road Overland Trailer build. One of our dearest friends, Chris, has been restoring this Bantam trailer (Bantam invented the Jeep!). In this video he shows us the finished product. Not only has this trailer been restored, it's been modified into an overlanding trailer. Chris walks us through each modification and explains the decisions he made in choosing equipment. Being a lovers of Jeep history, we also briefly discuss how Bantam actually invented the Jeep, but did not get the Military contract to build them during WWII, instead they were given the contract to make the trailers that were to be towed behind them.
