In the past, you usually had to wait for weeks of CNC work to make a model. And to test different motors and cam wheels combo, you will spend a huge time just on modeling. Therefore Inkclaw started messing around with 3D printing to develop some possibility to save the time of doing just model and test. Here is the original idea of the Passion pen. After multiple times of testing different motors and wheels combo, we finally equipped the Passion pen with a super strong brushless motor, which can easily start working at 2 - 2.5Volt around just 25Hz. It does not matter if you are into slow-speed dot work, blackout, or some other style tattoo. It can easily push any tattoo cartridge needle groupings. Moreover, the Passion pen only weighs 50-60 grams depending on the grips.
