This time, my team and I traveled to the village of Sloboda in the Klinsky District of the Moscow Region, where a young family with many children built a business from scratch selling strawberries and authentic cheeses produced using Italian technology. The couple also uses modern technologies to promote their farm products, actively develops agritourism, and conducts cheesemaking workshops for adults and children. Olga Leskovets and Sergey Kristya are builders by profession, but eight years ago they decided to leave city life and their jobs behind and move to the countryside to start a family farm. Today, they own 17 hectares of farmland, which they use to grow strawberries. Farmers also keep sheep, goats, chickens, geese, and cows to make homemade cheeses for themselves and to order.
