Pauline Hanson’s DV comments ‘twisted’ as media ‘go after’ One Nation leader

Sky News host Caleb Bond says One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson’s domestic violence remarks were taken out of context. “Last night we talked about the fact that Pauline Hanson made comments yesterday on 4BC about domestic violence that were then taken out of context,” Mr Bond said. “So, it set people on fire. “When she said it’s a two-way street, what she was talking about was yes, we have a problem with domestic violence committed by men in this country, but also in the broader discussion about Domestic violence we should talk about all domestic violence. “What we are now seeing, and it's been going on for a few months now, is that a certain section of the media will do anything they can to go after Pauline Hanson. “I do wonder now whether Pauline Hanson, having risen to the station she now has after being a political outsider for 30-odd years, is now in the mainstream; she is the woman of the moment; whether she needs to be a little more careful about what she says.”
