I'm a Sri Lankan Buddhist monk with 30 years in robes — and for the past 6 years, I've been a chaplain inside a Canadian federal prison, working with Correctional Service Canada to help people reintegrate into society. In this video, I'm sharing a new project close to my heart: supporting immigrant and second-generation youth in the Western world who are navigating addiction, mental health challenges, and the criminal justice system. Growing up between two worlds isn't easy.
