The X-Y table kit - a starting point (first of three)

I bought an X-Y table for a project, but it was very poorly made, so this (and another couple of videos) cover my efforts to get it back up to scratch. Many thanks to Phil and his brother Marco for teaching the basics of hand scraping to me and others. I also posted this on my height gauge video, but for those wanting a surface plate for small parts, ‪@CarbatecTheHomeOfWoodworking‬ (not a sponsor) do a little granite one measuring 300x230x50.
