15 DAYS IN LOVE: We leave everything at 10 PM for a Wild Camping and Fishing Road Trip in the Tarn Gorges! (Episode 1) 🎒 ROAD TRIP 2026.06 — PART 1 🏕️ The starting gun has fired! Friday night, time's ticking: bags are packed to the brim, the trunk is overflowing, and as soon as my other half finishes work at 10 PM, we're escaping civilization. Destination: Aveyron, in total digital detox mode for a 15-day romantic camping expedition, immersed in nature! 🚙💨 For our first night, we drive through the twilight until we're completely exhausted. At 5 AM, fate stops us by a magical pond near Nemours. An incredibly short night but a memorable awakening: we were completely blown away by the incredible number of ducks, geese, and a family of swans with their cygnets paddling in the mist. A truly magnificent sight! 🦢✨ Then, the quest resumes! A quick stop at Amilly Nature for fishing gear, a quick resupply, and we head to the Ozières pond. We get our rods out, but the depths only offer feisty catfish. No matter, we hit the road again towards the Bellenaves pond. Welcomed like royalty by the game warden, we cast our lines for one last magical hour as the sun sets. 🎣🌅 Day 2: A change of scenery! After a full-scale test of our multifunctional umbrella tent, we treat ourselves to a 4-hour drive through the Auvergne and the Grands Causses. At 5 p.m., we arrived at our holy grail: Camping Canoë Gorges du Tarn! Like true regulars after 7 years of traveling together, we pitched our tent in record time. We found the perfect spot: way at the back, totally shady, with direct and private access to the Tarn River for fishing with our feet in the water.
