They feel no guilt about hurting others if it allows them to maintain their power and feel superior. They struggle to recognize the feelings of others because they lack empathy: your emotions don't interest them unless they can use them against you. They live by seeking external validation because deep down, they feel empty and insecure, even if they will never admit it. And when they can no longer control someone, they don't hesitate to discard them as if they never mattered. This is how narcissists operate: masters of emotional disguise.
