TRIBUNJAKARTA.COM - The Gadjah Mada University Student Union (SEMA UGM) has spoken out regarding the chaos during a discussion titled "Gathering with Mas Dar: Pancasila Unifies the Indonesian Nation," held at the UGM Innovation and Creativity Center (GIK) Auditorium in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY), on Monday (June 15, 2026). The event was attended by three officials from President Prabowo Subianto's cabinet: Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sudaryono, Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency Nusron Wahid, and Head of the Agency for the Acceleration of Poverty Alleviation (BP Taskin) Budiman Sudjatmiko. Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) politician Mohamad Guntur Romli criticized the discussion, which featured several ministers at Gadjah Mada University (UGM). According to Guntur Romli, campuses should not be used as platforms for political image building or government propaganda.
