The Tsaatans, nicknamed "the reindeer people," live in the far north of Mongolia, a frozen and isolated region. Nomadic herders, they preserve their ancestral traditions and practice shamanism. Their free lifestyle, despite extreme temperatures, contrasts with the modern world. However, the arrival of compulsory schooling for their children confronts them with a dilemma: preserve their traditions or adapt to civilization.
