This is not just an emcee showreel. This is my story. At 15, I was diagnosed with Hypoplastic MDS. My odds of making it to 25 were not looking promising. After years of failed treatments, my final option was a Bone Marrow Transplant with a 50% chance of survival. Three days before my 20th birthday, my life finally changed course... Seven years after my initial diagnosis, I reached lifelong remission. In this video, I take to the stage at the Hong Kong Cancer Fund's L'amour Gala 2025 - Party for a Purpose - to share my story unfiltered, and to hold the torch for every single person who has faced, or will face, a cancer diagnosis. In this moment, I pledge to raise funds for my brothers and sisters - because every dollar raised is a step closer to giving someone else the second chance that I was lucky enough to receive.
