Travel days don't always go according to plan, and this one definitely kept us on our toes. Before hitting the road, we stop by the post office to mail our son's birthday gift and pack our own lunch to save money instead of eating out. Then we head toward South Carolina... but partway through the drive, Toast starts feeling sick. We have to pull over unexpectedly to take care of him before continuing our trip. Once we arrive, AJ heads to work while Toast and I slow things down at the Marriott, hoping he feels better soon. Some travel days are full of adventure, and others remind us to appreciate the quiet moments.
