Railfanning Wooden Trains with Alex : Episode 5 : Collisions at the Crossing Fifth in a series of wooden trains play taken at my production studio at Studio 4000 featuring wooden trains made by Whittle Shortline Railroad, Brio, ChooChoo Tracks and Melissa and Doug. Set to lifelike scenario, music complimented video and dramatic train crash scenes, Featured cars and trucks are Hotwheels. The Remix v2.0 : Collision at the Crossing features three segments showing the different variations of view perspectives as it has been one of my most elaborate set to date by using several unique imaging techniques. But most of the time spent in creating this wooden train video was in post production. I sincerely hope you enjoy watching this unique wooden train crash video as it was fun for me to create! Someone asked me where I got the locomotives that face backwards: Those are the ones I use as DPU’s and helpers so I modified the bogies and swapped them from front to back. It was easy to do; I only needed a small flathead screwdriver to remove and replace the screw holding the bogies. I only modified the hood units so I can pair them up with the wide safety cab units.
