www.tedxamsterdam.com These musicians have taken the challenge to create whole new versions of the songs of internationally acclaimed rock musician Beck. The artist asked for it: Beck released an album called Song Reader consisting only of sheet music instead of his own recordings, inviting people to interpret the music in their very own way. This incredible idea crowded YouTube with over a million versions of these songs. Project initiator and saxophone player Ties Mellema aims for a sublime version of this piece. He surrounded himself with a dazzling four baritone saxophone line-up and the talented singer Nora to play this exciting piece of music. The variety is huge and the result is a bizarre mix of styles and sounds!
