Mexico is one of the most important markets for bus manufacturers worldwide. Its importance is such that bus factories have been established in our country to supply the demand of Mexican bus lines and, in some cases, other markets. In this new series, we will learn about the different bus models manufactured in Mexico. In this first chapter, I discuss the three bus bodies produced by the successful Spanish manufacturer, Irizar. Irizar arrived in Mexico in 1999. Its assembly plant is located in the state of Querétaro. It produces three models: the i5, i6, and the i8.
