"Happy New Year," at the beginning of December? Yes, a happy liturgical year! A time of preparation for the great feasts of Christ, a time of contemplation of the message of these feasts, a time of putting them into practice: the Catholic year is very organized. Its division into short and long periods, of varied intensity and content, responds to the concern to present all aspects of the Mystery of Christ, so that we may live it in an ever-new way.
