Cardinal Law, centre of church sex abuse cover-up, dies
The former archbishop of Boston, Cardinal Bernard Law, has died. Previously a very important leader in the US Catholic Church, he was forced to step down after it was revealed he was involved in a cover-up to protect priests accused of abusing children. Instead of addressing the allegations of sexual abuse against priests, Law had moved the accused priests from parish to parish to cover up the scandal. After his resignation in 2002, Law was offered a position in the Vatican up to his death. Al Jazeera's Hannah Hoexter has more.
