The second part of a Dutch informational film produced by the Vehicle Testing Detachment I.T.D. about the armored amphibious tracked vehicle M113-A1 in the early 1960s. It features testing of the M-113 under amphibious conditions in the Dutch landscape, an overview of the procedures for launching, entering, and exiting the water, and a technical inspection, including that of the engine. Finally, a test drive. The conclusion after the testing period is that the M113-A1 is a reliable vehicle fit for its task. The tests also provide instruction on how to operate the vehicle. The vehicle has a Dutch registration, but it still has US Army markings. The film consists entirely of real-life footage shot during the testing period.
