The video has been widely circulated on social media. National human rights activist Bhajaman Biswal visited Soumyaranjan's family and collected the video for further examination. Although it has not yet been established whether the voice in the video actually belongs to Om Prakash Rout or someone else, Soumyaranjan's mother has alleged his involvement in the incident and demanded strict action against him.
